I am very curious what US bank would allow remote opening of accounts. I sat‌ in person with a VP at a large US bank and she told me specifically‍ US banking regulations require a person to open the account in person. The only exception⁠ I have seen to this rule is a credit union out of Illinois but even⁤ then you have to be a member of one of their supporting organizations/union, etc.

Me too I don't believe it to be that easy after⁢ all what I have read about to open US bank accounts it seems impossible that︀ I will be the owner of that account?
