OffshoreCorpTalk scam exposed: from CClogic front to fake forum accounts

Damn I was one of the few naive real users of the Offshorecorptalk scam forum and I realize I wasted my time there. Worse, I was instrumental to JohnLocke’s fraud! Like everyone else.
Fortunately I never bought anything from him or his aliases.

Another fake name he used: Michael Lange

Old registration for the OCT forum.

Wonder why someone would need to go by so many aliases

He used that alias for a while, back in the CCLogic days I believe. I wonder if he lived in Cyprus during that time

I’m pretty sure he never moved from Denmark until he ran to Germany and then Switzerland.
yeah he just used "anonymous" companies in Seychelles, then Cyprus with nominees services and banking....
then pretty sure "Germany" meant Hamburg... just over the danish border.
and now Switzerland.

BTW he has a new profile on fb and just did a photoshoot for Christmas in business attire 🤣

he's got a face like a fish, now i get why he needs to use all those fake avatars 🤣

also posted a picture of a snowed hill (clearly in switzerland)...
does he know that AI can easily find a location from a picture? 😉

and casually it's same location where @Ban0dit/@kilor (fake user) said he lived?

Actually he just revived an old account, in his typical fashion.

What a refined businessman 🤣

The face just matches his brain.
He should better remove the photos with minors. These are disturbing.

“This image displays a view of the Swiss Alps, possibly near the Walensee lake area or the canton of Schwyz”.
“The photo was taken from the village of Amden, Switzerland, specifically facing the majestic Mürtschenstock mountain and the Glarus Alps across Lake Walensee. The exact spot appears to be near or at one of the village's numerous viewpoints, such as the popular Durschlegi Viewpoint or Chapf Viewpoint”
What an expert of privacy.

Genius! Years of planning and preparation, involving all the great minds of OCT, to save 30k CHF per year 🤣

I wonder why, now that all this info is public:

1. Sponsors still pay to appear on Offshorecorptalk: are they scammers too? Or just JohnLocke’s businesses?
2. People continue to waste time writing contents there (@Wellington?): do you really enjoy supporting a scam operation in return for nothing?
3. Moderators (there are just 2 afaik) keep wasting their time moderating a dead forum populated by just one person: are they paid? Are they JohnLocke himself?

@JohnnyDoe I double checked that location and it's wrong... never trust AI 100%...
but, I have the exact location 🙂
the pic is taken between Schwyz and Ingenbohl...

Location: Ingenbohl (SZ), around Brunnen
View direction: South to south-southwest
Visible hills: Gitschen, Brunnistock, Niederbauen
Background: Uri Alps

on the A4 highway, around the Brunnen exit...
don't want to go more specific, but if you zoom at the hills, that's the spot.
this highway road is close enough... don't want to pinpoint exactly where the pic was taken from.
It's cloudy here on streetview but you should recognize the hills...

JohnLocke just DMed the message below to everyone. The word "Offshorecorptalk" is now a registered trademark within Europe. I'm curious what he think the practical use of this could be for him. It costs a few thousand euros to register and doesn't yield much for a company of this size. I've registered a few trademarks myself, and I never got much out of them.

I also found this statement quite hilarious: "Over the past months, organic traffic from search engines has grown significantly. Compared to roughly six months ago, visibility has increased several times over. More importantly, the type of traffic has improved as well. We are seeing more experienced users, more real cases, and more practical discussions around"

The forum is so dead I can see tumbleweeds flying across my screen. So called 'new' members who ask a generic question once and then never appear again are supposedly representing the increased activity. Of course, it's just the same old trick of fake profiles.

What's even sadder—I could give three recent examples if I had to—is that passersby who actually offer useful and lengthy, substantive advice are immediately banned. Imagine if John Locke lost the monopoly on his ChatGPT articles-to-scams pipeline.

Yet, unfortunately, there are still people who fall for his scams otherwise he wouldn't be trying so hard to keep this shallow place alive making such moves.

I found his TM application some time ago:
Post in thread 'OffshoreCorpTalk discovers scraping, declares end of Internet freedom!'
OffshoreCorpTalk discovers scraping, declares end of Internet freedom!
I was thinking to oppose the registration (there are several legal grounds), but I then fully realized the nature of the Offshorecorptalk scam, so I didn’t bother wasting time.
TMs are useful when you have some valuable IP to protect and monetize, not when you want to give legitimacy to a small fraud operation.

Now that the 3-months Indian SEO service subscription has expired, he has gone quiet with his stupid articles, which are quickly disappearing from searches. He no longer posts on X, perhaps because he doesn’t like my replies to his posts 🤣 And he banned me from his Medium account.

Would be nice to screenshot those contributions and post them here.

He was trying to mask his GPT addiction already in 2023: What tool is the best to detect if a blog or article is made with ChatGPT ?
