Hi I have just been recommended by my agent to open a corporate account for my business with Nodus bank or Banco San Juan International , both of which are in Puerto Rico. Has anyone had any dealings with either of these banks. I have never heard of them before?

I have heard of BSJI. It has been around for a while. They had run in with US DOJ if I remember but nothing bad. They still kept there USD Fedwire account after that so cant be a problem bank like EPB. Have you got their pricing?

I have never heard of Nodus Bank.

Ok thank you I have not got as far as to enquire about pricing yet. I wanted to do a little bit of due diligence first.

As far as it goes with Puerto Rico banks if they don't have a Fedwire account or have lost their Fedwire account then walk away. You can be assured the US has done their extensive due diligence on any bank before granting them direct access to USD....or at least that's the theory conf/(%.
