New and looking to set up offshore soon

Hi. I'm looking to setup offshore. My main income is from advertising and online clothing stores.

Australian resident living in Vietnam. My income is all foreign sourced.

Am I on the right path looking to set up offshore in Singapore or Hong Kong?

I have done some research today, and have an online consultation with someone in Singapore this week. I thought this would be a good place to start discussing what I need to be looking for/planning.

You may indeed look at Singapore and Hong Kong for your setup since you live‌ in Vietnam.

However, there are a few threads about HK and Singapore on this forum‍ which you may have a look at first.

I spoke to a tax consultant in Singapore who told me I would be better‌ off setting up in Vietnam if that's where I am planning to reside. Don't know‍ if I should look to Hong Kong or not.

HK is widely used by people in China and even Vietnam if they can afford‌ to pay the costs!

Go for a Seychelles company which is the preferred jurisdiction when Chinese people want to‌ go offshore elsewhere than Singapore and HK!

Seychelles works well for chinese people! and for 100% anonymous setups! so Belize does 😉
