Yes correct. Only thing required to open a bank⁠ account offshore or in Cyprus is a valid passport copy and utility bill, that apply⁤ for the majority of the banks, there are exceptions.

It's not possible, that⁤ simple! All banks have their banking and acquiring bankin split into two or more divisions⁣ or even companies.
