Need help for registering VAT, HMRC

Hello, everyone.

I have a UK company with a nominee director.
UBO is Dark.

While I'm applying for VAT NO. to HMRC,
I realized I have no ID no. of nominee.
but I can't get the identity number of nominee.

As you all know, Dark's identity no. is not real.

Have you ever received a vat number for HMRC as Dark's id?
Who else has experience?

For reference, both nominee and dark are EU residence.

I only know UBO(EU) has personal number, but I wonder it works.
Nominee director(EU) is real person, but I can't get his ID no. (only have copy of UK passport)

Should I have ID no. to register VAT number in HMRC?

British passports apparently don't have ID numbers
