Need advice on brand name

Hi,


I read in another forum that a someone had a problem with his current sale of his primary product, so he changed the brand name of his product and the product started to sell better than ever.


Is brand name of a product really that important?


I would really appreciate comments and views on this

Hi Ben,


I think it is good sometimes to change brand name for a product as the brand name should tell something about what the product is for and how good it is.


Even i came across one such incident as a product had a code as its brand name something like (XR-2000) but after changing it to super followed by the product name and it stared selling good.
