Multiple email accounts

Will someone please explain the benefit of having multiple email accounts linked to your Paypal account? I've seen the option but I'm not sure why. Thanks.

Well as far as I know if you are not interested in disclosing your same PayPal email id to many sites, you can use this method and going for multiple email accounts makes your site less vulnerable to be hacked.

Having multiple e-mail addresses means you can exactly control who paid for what.


For example, I have:


- one e-mail only for selling at ebay,


- one e-mail for selling at hood;


- one for affil-marketing


and one for personal money.

wow, I wasn't aware of this and will rush ro have multiple e-mail addresses add to my account, it makes sense.

Many have multible e-mail accounts with their PayPal account and as Wildy already mentioned it gives you great options to track your payments.

Yes this is exactly why you have multiple emails, to help track your income stream so you know what areas you have to better promote. It does really work

Thanks for the information everyone. I hadn't realize the benefits of having multiple email accounts pointing to PayPay but after reading this, I quickly made some changes to my account.

I only have one. I don't see why I'd make it harder by using more emails - when I could just have a universal one. Save the trouble.

Hes right. You can use multiple account for some niches.
