Update: I have gathered all documents and prepared the application form. I'll be handing over everything at the consulate in the Hague next Monday. I'll keep you guys posted when I receive my invitation.

I’m in the same position with my documents, but I am pre-screening consulates for one that is not picky about consular jurisdiction and will let me go straight to permanent residence. I plan to take a beach holiday to Puerto Vallarta where the INM office is convenient to Zona Hotelera Norte and the beach to finalize things later this year.
When you visit the INM office, let us know how it went. That would be a good contribution to this thread as it would give us multiple perspectives on how the process unfolds and what potential obstacles might be.
