Have you visited Mauritius or lived there?

Do you feel Mauritius is a reliable place, with a future, that carries out the law meticulously, a welcoming resourceful place you want to be?

Is Mauritius costly or too bureaucratic or too French?

Are there any bad habits from other countries closeby, or corruption, such there - i.e. how do you compare Mauritius with Switzerland 🙂

Would love to learn all your thoughts about the place. It is interesting as it is a leading business hub, and it's geographically away from major trade centers (Europe Asia Middle East America), and it has way better reputation than Seychelles.

Depending what business you are in, no company in Europe, will pay your invoices to a bank outside Europe most likely.
Now if you run an online business with bank cards processing it is a different story, usually internet customers do not care where the bank/company is based as long as you deliver.

My question was not how Mauritius is perceived outside Mauritius, but of anyone's experience with Mauritius itself - its tax authorities, corporate service providers, such.

Got a Mauritius company for some motnhs ago.. not used it yet, because I'm waiting for my bank account to be opened.

@erni cool! How did you find the corporate service provider you used? How has your expeirence been with setting it up, until now, what was the total cost?

Did you need to provide a lot of documents?

check the mentor group... it's easy to find your way to privacy and freedom. I found the agent there.. sure @James Turner is able to help you or user @Gediminas - but if you want to have total privacy pay the few bugs to get access to the MG Gold.
