MasterCard trying to stay relevant in future I guess 😕. But lets be honest if‌ crypto really takes of as a means of day to day payment then no one‍ needs a middlemen like MasterCard etc.

As long as you can pay with a MasterCard they will try to follow the‌ future and in all different ways try to retain their justification.

Visa stated recently that they processed 1bn usd of crypto-linked cards, thats a nice profit‌ for them so I assume Mastercard wants in on the action.

That will work⁠ only for some countries that have no banking etc. 2nd option is that they provide⁤ "chargeback" insurance while same time you don't have any insurance in crypto. In long term⁣ middle man will eliminated.
