Does anyone have experience with the remittance of capital gains or dividend payouts already taxed in Malta at 5% bringing this money back to Malta taxfree without problems.

The theory is quite vague when it comes to this; for example, it doesn't say anywhere whether you have to report this income and
which would be the best and easiest way to do it?

Maybe someone who has already done it and can say how the process works.
thx

Malta does not tax offshore capital gains brought into Malta by a non-dom if I remember. Income that is already taxed in Malta or taxed under a DTA abroad becomes capital for purpose of remittance into Malta.

Maybe someone could fact check this...thx. However I would speak to a tax advisor in Malta.
