That's kind true though. You can live in Dubai - or any city really - at a 500k to 2M EUR per year income, and that will be like a different city than someone living on a 100k EUR per year income.

I make good money, but Im trying not to lose touch with people in the 50k - 150k EUR range, which is still above average in both the world and in the West.

If you make in the 500k - to 2M range I guess the 50k to 150k EUR range is so far down to you, so you cant really make a difference between a pakistani taxi driver earning 700 EUR per per month, and a budding entrepreneur earning 5k to 7k EUR per month. But for the people in the 700 EUR to 7k EUR per month range the difference is huge, and the places they live in are vastly different.

Maybe it's true and i lived with another view of life. But as i said, i don't feel that i lived in a way like WOW. I had a very normal life imo.

Oh, and when I lived in Dubai, i had that income (90-150k) and for that i moved. I felt that i am wasting my money and life to have a decent lifestyle.

I love Dubai. For holidays is amazing. But Dubai for single person is very dangerous. There are tons of enternaiment, and you can fall in the Peterpan lifestyle. As a lot of people doing (specially crypto boys).

The point is the OP would be better to move to a European country or stay in his home country until income has been increased consistently.

SEA also can be a nice option. If he like SEA. But I agree, Personally, I wouldn't leave Europe with that income. But everyone is different.

I woke move to St. Barth's. They also speak French and he can pay French tax for five years with me income until he makes more.

The problem with St Barth's is that (unlike Dubai) one cannot find reasonably priced long term accommodation. Think it will hard to find anything below 5k EUR per month. The market is focused on luxury villas and short term accommodation.

So with a 5k to 7k EUR per month income, I think one can forget about St Barths. Also paying French tax (even if somewhat reduced for being Outre Mer) for 5 years isn't great. One can apparently buy a 5 year old company, but there would still be personal tax I think.

I'll try to see if I can find some good things to do in Malta maybe in first place, because like you said I need to make a lot more money.

But getting taxed nearly the half of what I'm getting isn't a good things to start investing in some projects and then get more profit in different business.

So I'll probably focus on getting info on how I can make it with malta and I'll see in maybe a year or two if I can get somewhere else if my profit increased!

Thanks for all the infos btw, and if someone is living atm in malta or now really well how tax are working there it will be great to have a talk!!

Have a good day! 🙂

Nope... Moving country perhaps if the company is entirely digital.

You could do Thailand and just pay tax on remitted income into Thailand.

I am going this route but what is the best way to reduce corporate taxes in this situation? I only need to remit max £2k per month but I still have to pay UK corp tax?

Voy por este camino, pero ¿cuál es la mejor manera de reducir los impuestos corporativos en esta situación? ¿Solo necesito enviar un máximo de £ 2 000 por mes pero aún así tengo que pagar el impuesto de sociedades del Reino Unido?

Using a UK LLP.

For 48k of profit I get 29k after taxes, there is nothing better ?

And I could move if the country is good!

It's very difficult to optimize it. You have to take into consideration:
  • Living costs
  • Insurance
  • Rent
  • Car's cost
  • Dental costs
There may be a few more, but if you put all this together you should get more than what you claim to have now, if not, it makes no sense to relocate. Unless you have other reasons than tax to relocate.

I guess you're not paying any tax or have a company setup in France right now.

IMO:
  1. Get the f*ck out of France ASAP - OR - setup a company there if you want to stay in France and pay taxes there (no whining about high taxes afterwards).
  2. Checkout places like Romania (micro company), Poland (freenalncer), Bulgaria (company), Czech Republic (freelancer), Montenegro (company). These are the countries you can move to easily and that make sense considering your current earning levels.
  3. Forget about Dubai. If you are certain you could 10x it - then you should consider it but dating is not very popular topic there in there so just stay away. Even if you 10x it - you should better look into Cyprus than in Dubai tbh.

Some very good advise in this thread. Have small income now and want to move somewhere where taxes and living is cheap.

At the moment best option for me seems to be Thailand with US LLC or UK LLP and just pay tax on remittance
