Honestly, if your revenue is that low, you can even consider Switzerland. Just don't come complaining later that the kid's daycare cost as much per week of what your brother pays in France. But that goes for all tax free places.
Oh it's tax free until more than 100k. Say you earn 250k USD, and take 150k as salary, leaving 100k as tax free profit. And 150k USD is a very reasonable salary for a CEO and founder of a successful small business.

Not if you go the remote worker route with a foreign company, say a US LLC. Then it's just 330 USD per year plus health insurance to maintain residency in Dubai. And accounting and audit, not sure that is required for a foreign company - dont think that is totally︀ clarified yet.

Come on, everyone doesnt have to live in a villa on the Palm! I just went to propertyfinder and searched for rentals below 72k AED per year, ie 6k AED per month. Guess how many results I got? ...28,966! try yourself! And most are in totally fine areas, even 323 in Business Bay, and 50 in Marina. But also areas that are slightly off the center such as JVC, Sports City, Meydan etc, have︀ great apartments, and are way nicer than what you get for the same price in︁ the suburbs of say London, Stockholm, or Paris

Ok, 7k EUR that's 27,861 AED per month or 334k AED per year. At that price you get large villas with landscaped gardens and next to golf courses in Dubai. (Again I just searched and thats what came up) Even at that price point, you get more for your money in Dubai than in major western cities.
But not being happy with that - calling it about decent, nothing special︀ - is a bit like a centi-millionaire being annoyed that his billionaire friend has a︁ slightly nicer private jet. And a centi-millionaire thinking flying commercial even in first class would︂ be absolutely terrible.

Are u serious? With 5000-7000€︆ per month, as he said, you can get a decent apartment of 2 bedrooms in︇ one Address or something like this level. Not a penthouse, or a luxury villa. The︈ villas that you talk are unfurnished.

It's been a secondary home base of mine for many years. I own a few properties there so Im seeing the actual market price from direct demand. I know the Dubai property sites dont always show what you get, but overall the price level on property finder is in line with what Im observing directly from potential tenants.
I think that for him a good life is an studio apartment in isolated area and eat for 8 dirhams in one of these karaks where go to lunch the taxi drivers.

That's kind of true though. You can live in Dubai - or any city really - at a 500k to 2M EUR per year income, and that will be like a different city than someone living on a 100k EUR per year income.

If you make in the 500k - to 2M range I guess the 50k to 150k EUR range is so far down to you, so you cant really make a︀ difference between a pakistani taxi driver earning 700 EUR per per month, and a budding︁ entrepreneur earning 5k to 7k EUR per month. But for the people in the 700︂ EUR to 7k EUR per month range the difference is huge, and the places they︃ live in are vastly different.
