In Schengen, if you are from a country that subscribes to Schengen, you won’t get an entry / exit stamp. If you are from outside Schengen you get an entry stamp in the entry country and an exit stamp in the exit country. In the mean time you can travel in the Schengen area if your visa allows it.
this does however not mean that within Schengen your passport cannot be checked. It’s unlikely︀ but does happen. Without a stamp and just digitally checking your passport (normally done by︁ swiping the document which reads the machine readable part) there is then still a marker︂ left in a database that you entered or exited a certain country at that date︃ and time.
