Is there any systematic reporting with Visa and Mastercard across accounts?

I guess Visa and Mastercard themselves are not part of CRS, its the banks and EMIs that have to report?

But would there also be any "cross account/EMI" pooling of data, reporting or surveillance that should be taken into regard?

As of now I've got perhaps a dozen cards across ordinary accounts, EMIs and even Binance - the spelling of my name varies, so it could not easily be done that way.

I guess passport number could also be available to Visa and Mastercard? Or are they basically not involved in this unless there is a real investigation...

It must be the banks that have to report and not visa / mc - it would be a major work task for the card association if they had to report. Also the VISA and MC cards are handled by the banks.

But the better the AI & processing of big data gets the more likely something along these lines will happen I guess?

Give this 3-5-10 years and I'm afraid the answer will be somewhat different...
