Is there any cryptocurrency that is in synergy with the other?

I will give you an example. Every time Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies rise, BAT (Basic Attention Token) goes down!

Now I wonder if there is some connection between these two cryptos or why this is the case in 99% of all times over the last 4 years I have been following the cryptocurrency market?

Are there other coins behaving similar?

I'd say that BAT's USD price has been quite well correlated with BTC's USD price over the last year or so, until a big spike in August and a slide since then.

DYOR and verify yourself but on the Basic Coinbase platform - not CB Pro or the new Adv Trading - when you look at a coin/token, CB lists a handful of coins on bottom right with price correlation.

Yeah Monero is holding strong when others are going down. But still it is BTC that all cryptos following.
