Is the Swiss Foundation the Hidden Asset Protection Tool Everyone's Overlooking?

I understand the setup. The problem is when you open say a bank account, they will ask for the UBO and will insist it's the founder.

Not according to the information I found and read. There will be a signee for the bank account but not a UBO other than the foundation since there is no real person!

The financial institutions will not require to identify the founder as UBO but members of the board as controlling persons.

Consult the due diligence protocols at

particularly article 40 and forms S and T.

What do you guys think about such services offering a Swiss Foundation for 890 CHF, it could be something very basic but maybe its good as a holding to some other foreign company for shareholder privacy, as it would have minimal amount of transactions it could be maybe cheap to maintain? No min capital required as i understand depending on structure

It is too cheap if you ask me. Requirement is to have a notary to declare everything during the registration, they also want money.

You need to ask what costs there is for accounting and maintaining the setups.. do they claim to register a Trust AND Foundation at the same time for this 890 CHF ?

Thanks yes it seems it was just an affiliated company, their partner told me it is going to be much more expensive and not suitable for commercial reasons that i have

You won't get anything serious in Switzerland for 890 EUR, and definitely not a proper Foundation setup. You've probably realized that already.

If I were you, I'd look into setting something up in Cyprus, Malta, or somewhere else where it's a bit harder for the authorities to freeze your assets or shut down a company and accuse it of VAT fraud or whatever else is trendy to accuse small businesses of in 2025.
