Is stock got reported in crs?

Hi guys,i am new here.
I am curious whether stock got reported under crs.so far i know that all financial institution will report our cash balance.but do they report our stock position as well? For example,our balance is 50k,but we have open position of more than 500k.will it get reported?

Yes, the Financial Institution will report the value of your equity at end of year, this includes cash balance and open positions.

I read that united stated didnt sign on crs.so thats meant if we have stock brokerage account in the united states,it will not be reported right?
2.the problem is that my country has double taxation convention with the united states.i am wondering which one is more dangerous?
Double taxation convention or MCAA crs?
