Not really relevant as did a Dubai corp after seeing how slow the BVI process was these days, but one thing that perked my interest, i've never had to post notarised originals to the agent before, is this new to BVI or just the agent or me?

It's increasingly common. Not all agents require it but the more diligent ones tend to.
