Hi!

Do you know whether it is possible to contact IRS by email somehow? As I can find on the website only the phone number.
I have made a mistake with EIN and need to submit the correct information but I do not know how to contact them.

also tried to call them but hard to reach. Tried for several hours but no‌ success. Do you think they will accept the information over the phone to correct the‍ mistake or it is more efficient to send a letter?

I'd first try calling again, getting someone on the phone, and either resolve the issue⁤ over the phone or have them tell you what to mail to them.
