Exited to be here. I'm moving from Europe to the Caribbean and looking for a new business setup as the country I'm moving to is on the blacklist for things like Stripe and PayPal. I will be opening a new thread for this.

we are in a similar situation except I'll be going to Aruba. Another forum member recommended me a Canadian LLP which would allow me access to PayPal/Stripe!

Nice, we're gonna be neighbors! What are the advantages of a Canadian LLP over a US LLC?

To be honest I couldn't tell you. I know the Canadian LLP had no taxes for non Canadian income generated by non residents. My particular business sells to basically exclusively Americans so my planned structure was going to be Canadian LLP > Aruba Free Zone company. This way I can have access to PayPal/Stripe but I stay away from the US IRS. Both a Canadian or US partnership entity are from 1st world reputable countries it's just a question of what works better for your specific situation and which is most cost effective. 🙂
