It's a very good thing if they indeed waive the monthly fee. However, I believe for some one trading on a daily basis the $10 fee is invisible anyway.

or may be some new Spanish administer learning 'how to update website by "searching on google"' .
It looks like they have also added fees for using "Enhanced Network Connections" (Trader Workstation, TWS API, REST API) of USD 10.00 per month minimum commission
(USD 3.00 for age 25 and under). Which looks like the same inactivity fee as it used to be.
So if you only use the web/mobile trading, this looks like a very good deal.
