As the title say, I have 40K euro in USD-C coins and want to exchange them into something better more reliable. However, the Ledger Live system keep telling me I have insufficient funds in Ethereum (have 200 euro there) to exchange this amount.

Now I wonder, is it cheaper to exchange them is ETHER is low in price and more expensive as ETHER price rise?

How much money would I need to exchange 40K EURO USD-C at my Ethereum account to execute the exchange?

Link your Ledger to a DEX ( ie: 1inch.exchange ) and check the rates there, I find gas fees on easy swap solutions are usually double than on the actual exchanges them selves.

thank you, does it mean that I don't need to have sufficient Ethereum on my Ledger Nano or how does it work when you say connect?

Can I trust the site ?

you do not have enough ether to cover the exchange fees. assuming you exchange 40k at once it can well be.

So pick a lower amount and get yourself some more eth first. Maybe 600$-1000$ and then repeat again.
