Huge delay at Bank of Cyprus applications.

Hi all,

There is a huge delay atm. at Bank of Cyprus with applications for account opening send in during the last 2 months.

It seems they are minutely are going through all applications and check passports if they are valid a real. The same goes for address on utility bill's and bank statements.

The delay I have noted so far is 4 weeks after they received the original signed application from the clients.

So patient is your best body at the moment.

Thanks for making us aware of it. I have a friend that you help with the account opening he already started to get angry because of the long waitning.. I told him to be patient.

This does not relate to Xfighter case?

This user had ordered a Cyprus bank account at offshore company corp (hong kong scammers) and had no answer after 4 weeks. I have chatted with him and he told me he waited for the bank account.

I think offshore company corp is a total scam and that it is only a website with no registered agents behind.

Sorry to be pushy, i would like to know because it will help me to make a decision, can you confirm once again this 4 weeks delay for a business bank opening in Cyprus?

I can confirm that I'm still waiting for my bank account to be opened but at least Friday last week they responded with some additional information they requested which I provided. Yesterday they came back confirming the information to be accepted and allocation letter will be send to me.

It looks better now. They are responding again and they promised the turnaround time won't be 4 weeks any longer. Let's relay on this statement 😉
