Hey all!

I'm an American and have been operating an American based LLC going on 5 years now, and for the last year have been living the nomadic life around South East Asia. I joined this forum to research structuring options for new business ventures, especially options that may allow me to obtain some longer term visas or a work permit in a new country. 🙂

Figured I'd drop in an introduce myself. Will read some established threads before posting questions.

Welcome here. Not many US guys in general as tax savers are quite limited with global taxation.

It's an Wyoming based LLC. I still have to pay personal income tax, as an American citizen I get bent over no matter where I am in the world and no matter if I physically live in America or not. Uncle Sam is thirsty and wants a sip.

It's an IT business.

Not sure where my last reply went but I saw you had asked what type it was.

Was just answering a question someone had when I had introduced myself. Guess they can PM me if they want to have a conversation that doesn't involve simply saying "Hello, welcome". 😉

I'll read some threads and search before I post anything. Any question I have has likely been answered before. My situation isn't very unique, I don't think.
