How to open a company in Bulgaria?

In a nutshell, how easy it is? How much does it cost? How difficult to do it remotely?

I could also travel there - I want to stay there anyways, if I manage to get a visa outside of my country. During my trip I could try to open a company, instead of doing it remotely.

One person company.

It's easy. Takes a couple of days or weeks, depending on how prepared you are‌ and government workload.

Costs a few hundred euro. Can be done remotely or in person.‍

OP if you can travel there it may take you only a few days as‌ @sol already pointed out. However, do you live outside of EU since you consider a‍ VISA ?

You can easily open a company, however, it will be very difficult to open a‌ bank account nowadays.

Opening an account nowadays in some countries‍ isn't very difficult.

Opening an account in Bulgaria may be difficult - I don't know.⁠ Why open it there if I can open it in a country where it's easy?⁤

This is because⁠ of EU regulations. It is very difficult for foreigners/directors with different citizenship to open an⁤ account for a newly formed company.

Opening a bank account in Bulgaria for a Bulgarian company is a pretty undramatic process,‌ assuming you have operations in Bulgaria and at least one director/shareholder resident there.

That's not what I meant.

Why not open account elsewhere outside of EU? Namely, in Middle‍ East, in SE Asia, etc

I confirm is very difficult to open the account for residences outside the EU. you‌ must also evaluate a change of residence in BG. A mine friend , before opening‍ the current account of the company, forced him to make transfers directly from the bank⁠ counter for the first 6 months.
