How to develop a new crypto currency?

I'm pretty sure some would like to tax "Satoshi Nakamoto" or sue him for various‌ reasons, though the guy who created bitcoin and all this mess, doesn't even bother about‍ legal/compliance bs, because he was smart enough to never reveal identity.

Its possible without an ICO and Fiat on-off-ramp or other tricks but I wouldn't go the official route again without a 7-digit budget.

Technically, an ICO is like an IPO, I would‍ never buy shares from a company whom I don’t know the real owners. DeFi is⁠ a different beast, and I am sure a sort of legalization must be put in⁤ place to grow the crypto economy (loans w/o 100% collateral, real asset tokenization, etc.). Right⁣ now it is just a speculative field in which very few players can really play⁢ anonymously (the first ones that started the party).
