How to build a digital bank/EMI as technical steps !!

Hello, i am with a client and investor for a case study of what they need technically and general points of building their own Digital Bank along with their own cryptocurrency in future.


currently, they are in the finalization the approval from authorities but now the authority ask for the case study and some technical things like what they will do as in IT infrastructure or how they do the KYC
which companies they can build the API or how they will build the API to connect to which bank for the accounts or do they need to build all from scratch as a regular bank but to be as digital ?!

Its more like Monzo/Tide along with features of dealing with crypto for future plan.

The answer is simple , and not simple at the same time.

Asuming you are targeting EU, snd want to be regulated in EU, just google PSD2 providers, you will find a lot.. so best is to start talking with them.
Also read about open banking providers.

I know that you didnt ask, but for others..

The best approach in todays timing , is to become a registered agent.. why ?
You can start working in less then a month.
Your exprience as agent , will reduce the "cost" of questions and invetigations in an half in the future.
