Isn't the power of attorney normally with attorneys rather than banks? I am pretty sure you'll find one that allows you to allow him to just open the account.jayM said:

Also I am pretty sure that if you open it online directly with the bank, there is no such need.

It was ABB, ArmBusinessBank before rebranding. ABB was not exactly a reputable bank back then among Armenians.
Also it seems you need to be Armenian to open an account. Are you from Armenia?
