How do I anonymously create a domain?

I am Looking to create a anonymous domain for a online business.

I notice people recommend Njalla (better options?).

My question is how do i dot all the i's and cross all the t's when it comes to privacy and anonymity? For example I am new to crypto and have a bitcoin account, but people say that isn't private What should I use and how do I buy it? If I want to contact Njalla and I use e-mail that likely erodes my privacy.

So how do I use Njalla (or another recommended registrar) to create a domain name, how do I host it, how do I pay for it, and how do I communicate...Anonymously as possible?

What methods are recommended?
What do you do?
How would you do this?

Thanks.

Anonymity isn't a binary. It's a spectrum. Depending on who your threats are, different measures would need to be taken.

From whom are you hiding? Nosy friends and neighbors? Competing businesses? Debtors? Tax authority? Law enforcement? Military or spy agencies? Religious institutions?

Bitcoin isn't particularly private but it might be private enough in some cases. If you want to go one step further, take the bitcoin to an exchange that doesn't KYC, and convert it to XMR or other privacy coin. It might be wise to take steps to obfuscate the funds by converting across multiple cryptos: bitcoin to ethereum to litecoin to XMR, for example, as this makes tracing harder. Now you have a significantly more anonymous payment method.

Use virtual machines or remote desktops so that your own devices don't get fingerprinted. Use Tor or VPN service like Mullvad to mask your IP address (even if you're using a remote desktop). Set up free email accounts with Tutanota, Proton, and other privacy focused email providers.

You can now pay for hosting and domain with your hard-to-trace crypto and register with your hard-to-trace email address, with web hosts that tolerate anonymous clients. For example Njalla or Incognet.io.

This is the probably the answer to your question.

If I may suggest something, I would use a bitcoin exchange service like the one below. First, you exchange your BTC for XMR or another good anonymous cryptocurrency, and then you exchange your XMR (or another coin) for BTC but send them directly to the recipient. This way, they cannot be traced back to you. At least it's very difficult, if at all possible.

The rest is simple, VPN, and fake ID then it runs.

Sorry for the late reply, I was away... Sols and johnlocke thank you for your replies.

My concerns are for privacy and wanting to divide knowledge my income streams as completely as possible (ie un-link my personal from my business). I am have had things happen to me personally in the past and to friends recently that leave me with a strong distrust of government (Canadian government). I will write a more detailed explanation in a new form to focus on the other questions I have.

So first off bitcoin... As some of you might know, our Canadian government has cracked down on bitcoin because of a certain segment of the freedom loving population of canada used it to fund a long protest. So while I do have a coinbase account (new to crypto) they don't allow me to buy XMR or really any privacy coins. Also apparently since I reside in the province of Ontario I no longer have access to getting a biance account as they have been baned from operating and they seem to be the ones that allow for me to trade bitcoin to XMR. So how would I be able to get my funds transfered so I can start to anonymously fund the creation of my domain, and other privacy focused ventures moving forward?

Sols, when you mean creating a VM you mean a VM on my computer or on a remote computer? (i have a raspberry pi that I could create into a remote host). I also created a proton account and downloaded the tor browser.

John, that change now exchange, are they allowed to operate in canada? Is it a exchange that holds my coins or just a exchange that I could use to exchange and then back to my exchange? Ie could I use coinbase to exchange with it? After I exchange with it, where do I put the XMR before i use it if coinbase does allow it? Sorry for my ignorance, just getting up to speed on the subject.

kycnot.me has a quite a few of Hosting and Domain name Registration companies, where you can pay in Crypto. As other have suggested if you want to be extra safe, use Tails, atomic swap your crypto on an no-KYC exhange (also listed on the site above).

In terms of buying crypto, you do not need Coinbase. I would suggest a non KYC exchange like Agoradesk (although there are many others). It is very simple to use, does not require any details whatever from you and there is lots of sellers from whom you can buy crypto anonymously. Just like with everything else, make sure to read their reviews before purchasing.

In terms of storing crypto, I would suggest downloading one of the open source free crypto wallets and storing it there, until you plan on spending it. You can find a list of those wallets on privacytools.io. Come to think of it, you will find plenty of useful info on that site.

So, besides these privacy tools you need to install on your computer to delete all your data trails, registering a domain anonymously is probably one of the simplest things still.

Buy or create a fake utility bill and find a host where you can pay with XMR or other crypto, use a wallet like Exodus which is also anonymous, and voila, you have your domain.
