Hosting a game server on offshore hosting?

Hello,

I'm willing to host a game server but it's going to be hosted in my home, so i'm building a complete home server for this game server. It's totally against the rules to make a private server of a game and i already know a lot of pple got their servers shut down and it seriously went bad for them, i want to make a completely safe system in my homeserver which means i want to go invisible on the internet so they cannot track me or shut down my pserver. Any tips what do i need? or how to start with this?

That's simple - rent a dedicated server (not VPS/VDS/Cloud/etc) and set up a transparent proxy to your home. I personally recommend using Wireguard VPN or haproxy load balancer.
But note that it will add 100-500 ms to the ping time.
