Here is something a little different from my usual posts ”“ who can give me advice or pointers on setting up a HK company with a Taiwan branch office?
As I understand it this is possible and this set up is required for a business that's operating in Taiwan offering professional engineering services to the nuclear sector. This business will offer services in Taiwan and will invoice for works in Taiwan. I found this initially

There needs to be a banking solution that works for this set-up also. I'm minded in instances such as this to turn to the usual suspects (KPMG, EY etc”¦) but if there is a more cost effective solution I'd be keen to know. I'm also keen to hear from anyone who has experience of this and who may have contacts in both Taiwan and HK.
