Hello,

I appreciate some insight in the path that i need to walk.

I live in a EU country and I am starting an online subscription software service (legit).

Where I live the corporate income tax is just too high, so I'm thinking of going offshore. Here are my goals and advice needed:

1. An ideal offshore company + bank account with no corporate income tax;

2. An registar and hosting with a good level of secrecy;

3. Don't want nominees, so a level of secrecy on the shareholder and director is important but not a must;

4. My clients will be paying with credit cards, bank wires and maybe check;

5. What are the costs for a merchant account?

6. Where I live we have automatic debit payments every month on the client bank account, since he obviously agrees with it, filing a form. Is this also possible?

7. How will I process the invoices? ;

8. I need a debit card to withdraw money worldwide and online banking;

9. Besides the formation cost, what other costs am I looking at, annual fees, account professional”¦?

10. Is there any share capital?

Tks..

Outside of very specific circumstances (which you would know about if you were engaged in‌ them), these all turn out to be scams.

Look like money laundering - they are trying to transfer money through many accounts to‌ hide the traces - expect police visit if you'll be involved

Just for the explanation, the abovementioned strings are just names for different types of SWIFT transactions. For⁤ example, MT104 means ordinary wire transfer, MT103 direct debit, GPI represents certain enhancement of the⁣ original SWIFT standard that should allow for higher speed and traceability, UETR Code is a⁢ name for Unique End-to-end Transaction Reference – a string of 36 unique characters featured in︀ all payment instruction messages carried over SWIFT. Etc.
It means, standing alone it does not︁ say very much about the transaction, the object of importance are the data about sender,︂ receiver etc. contained in SWIFT messages.
Under normal circumstances, the denotations quoted above are not︃ used to describe payment orders and an ordinary bank accout user is not even aware︄ about their existence.
So, if anyone is using this terminology in a business proposal, it︅ really does not smell well 😉
And quite generally, if someone unknown gives me a proposal︆ just to perform a payment transaction, regardless of form I should run away like hell︇ 🙂

I think I first saw this scam around 1998 when it came in as an‌ unsolicited fax smi(&% (A fax is like a self-printing email, for those youngsters around here who‍ never saw one).
People must still be falling for it. For some reason, when something makes no sense it attracts victims stupi#21

Believe me, I’ve distanced myself from all this︅ s**t, but just happened that every now and then I hear someone going over these︆ and it caught my attention. Plus, the proposal I’ve had. Thank you for the clarification.︇ Duly noted and appreciated.

You need a phone line and a fax machine, otherwise you‍ do not get any privacy advantage if you use online fax service.

I don’t want anything but when more than people approach you with the same‍ crap it makes you wonder the hell is going on. I needed to understand what it is. Now that I do I can distance myself from all of it.
