I’ve asked this before, probably, but I either never got a good answer or I didn’t understand the answer I got. Let’s pretend that someone gets a legitimate Guinea-Bissau citizenship and passport. Now what? What do you do with it aside from easier access to West Africa in the case you have business interests there? You can’t travel easily with it. What kind of bank is going to open an account for a white man with a Guinea-Bissau passport? Is there some kind of criminal or money laundering use that I am missing? The whole thing seems like it would just bring more heat than it shields you from.

You cannot get a legitimate Guinea Bissau passport, period.
You might convince some bank to open an account with it, you never know, social skills and money can open doors. But at that point, much better to buy a good replica from a reputable country, at a fraction of the price, and every bank will gladly accept you.

Treat it like a hypothetical thought experiment. If you did get one, what could you do with it? What benefit would it provide?

You might be able to use it to cross some African border (I know people who have used much worse things or nothing at all) and to open a bank account in Africa. Being black would help.
It is also a nice addition to your collection of passports, if you are into this hobby. Your neighbor/friend/girlfriend might be impressed.

You can get a diplomatic passport from GB, unfortunately it’s not a real appointment.
Real diplomatic appointments require a minimum commitment of $200k, and involve meeting with real government officers etc.
Sometimes even then it is a fake.

I think in this situation it is even less than that. Possible he’ll just disappear with the payment and not even provide fake documents.

Is the country that bad? Any investment organization that can help maybe? Not much on Google either.
AFSIC, IFAD, UNDP?

At least, you would hopefully get something for your investment.

Any idea who can help? Câmara de Comércio, Indústria, Agricultura e Serviços da Guiné-Bissau, National Investment Agency or Export Promotion Agency maybe? @Paratore, @jafo any ideas?
