Good to see @gh0p on the forum to defend himself, tbh I largely agree with him so I wouldnt say his services may be pointless given that many individuals over 40 usually dont even have basic knowledge about these concepts I definitely see a niche for his services.

Nobody accused him of anything. I simply posted a review.
Instead of using the critiques to improve, he chose to attack me and anyone who called out his amateurish approach.
There is surely a “niche” made of people over 40 who don’t know better: that’s exactly the kind of crowd OCT preys on. Selling recycled jargon to the uninformed doesn’t make a service useful, it just makes it marketable.
He’s safe as long as he keeps glorifying OCT and lending credibility to its parade of fake members. On a scam forum like that, stepping outside the script gets you banned. Here, no one is silenced, and that’s the difference between open discussion and a paid scam funnel.

Anyone who receives glowing praise from @JohnLocke instantly smells of scam. Simply because anyone who doesn’t pay his pizzo gets banned or ghosted (see @NewHorizonsParaguay, @Qzejol, @Laid Back Llama, and plenty of others over the years). Positive reviews vanish, while bad ones magically appear under his fake accounts.
I don't like the concept of guilt by association, but sometimes you have to distance yourself from scammers if you want to protect your reputation. Otherwise, you risk sliding straight into what the US would classify under RICO*.

Read what I said before. I don't store them but clients do. I didn't make a "review" of JohnnyDoe it is the other way around hence burden of proof is on him not me. If Johnny was a real client he would have them but he doesn't under whatever excuses.
I can't actually believe I have to explain what it means. Only furthers my point you will find the most ridiculous things to high five each other about and what the entire made up review to which no proof was delivered, is about.

It might very well be that my first contact with @gh0p was through a DM on OCT, and we exchanged Session ids there. Unfortunately as I’m banned I can’t retrieve it (assuming that @JohnLocke has not deleted it).
It is exactly what my initial thoughts were and @CEO and @JohnnyDoe proved it! PGP was such an obvious excuse that is never used or used occasionally… he obviously uses alternative communication channels… what a joke!
I’m wondering how does a 40+ yo person is taught to use pgp. I highly doubt it.
It is indeed a bit cumbersome, but there are some outlook (desktop) plugins that make it easier. Emclient has a built in function.
But probably it makes more sense to provide the client with a secure phone (or a bunch of phones to distribute to his contacts) with pre installed tools.
