First day after losing my job

Hi,

Today is Saturday and this is the first day that I lost my job, I couldn't tell that to my 8 years old daughter and my wife which is pregnant. In the last 8 years, I was constantly looking to open a business for myself. It started from weblog writing and affiliate marketing from click bank, freelancing on freelancer.com and guru, after 2 months of sending proposal I figured out there is no way can compete with other country proposal price.

And then I tried CPA and after wasting a lot of money, I figured out there is no room for me to make money online. right now I am 40 and I have to apply for a new job again and continue the same cycle, means work for a few years and after the project is done they won't need me anymore.

I am sharing this post here to take your honest advice about how can I make money online, either legal or illegal.

First of all I feel sorry for you.

Illegal is not the way unless you know what you are doing! There are lot's of ways of doing money online. You can setup affiliate websites to earn profits. You can ask people if they need help for whatever you may be good at. For instant webdesign, webhosting, seo, affiliate marketing Google AdWords and so forth.

First of all, sorry for this, its hard especially with a family but you will bounce the hard times never stay for ever brother. Do you have skills in programming & coding ? ( Java, angular, server amazon ? etc )

When you fall , you have a chance to get up higher and stronger. So... what do you know? what are your skills?
Maybe , describe more what you know to do, and from the forum you will find jobs.

Truly Sorry for your current situation, and you took Right move by asking about it in mentor group.

Have you considered searching for a full-time job within your resident country? I don't think age 40 (or any number) makes any difference as long as you have skills that are required in current market. In this digital age, information on internet is abundant, so go ahead, take 1-2 days vacation (don't tell anyone about it), search on internet for current skills in demand, identify your skill sets for potential matches, and search for your new 9-5 job aggressively. If anyone asks about current work situation and family, tell them openly about it. Somehow, being honest is more powerful in convincing job interviewer that your need for job is fully genuine and urgent. During job searches, either surround yourself with positive minded people, Or just stay alone.

I am sharing these thoughts from a friend's similar journey. He used to talk to me a lot during his tough times.

Tough times don't last forever, so enjoy this ride as much as you can.
