People complain in another thread about banks being so untrustworthy. Yet the crypto space is filled with far more unsavory people. Crypto will never replace banks because you cannot change human nature. Just as the largest two Swiss banks, UBS and Credit Suisse, provided the U.S. and the EU with the leverage needed to destroy secrecy in Swiss banking, the ubiquitous criminal element in crypto will provide the leverage to cripple crypto. There is no self-policing in crypto and the moral hazard is high. The sociopaths with superior hacking skills will always prevail.
