Starting to lose hope… 43 pages to support the title ‘Euro pacific bank is a‌ scam’, and no end in sight. It couldn’t be more true, until convinced otherwise.
 
@Pschiff Can you kinldy divulge a bit more on next steps? Given the absense of‌ backend software, how are outgoings wires now been managed? Who is now repsonsible for this?‍ Has Novo Bank now confirmed they will be processing the wires (no more nonsense from⁠ them)?
 
Another rate hike by the ECB and EPB still charging negative rates on Euro deposits,‌ what a bunch of thieves!
The only bank in the world charging negative rates on‍ Euro deposits.
 
We are dicussing here how to release our funds and meantime the money does not‌ exist. That is the black scenario that seems to be more true to me with‍ every next day. I really doubt those money were secured. Rather used for risky investments.⁠ The whole thing was about the money. Not we are the beneficiary in this fairytale.⁤
 
For customers that have opted out I understood the negative rates do not effect the‌ initial outgoing wire transfer total amount as the transfer request was made before the negative‍ rates. Can someone confirm this? If this is not true and opt out funds are⁠ deducted with negative rates this is an absolute robbery. At this rate customers will have⁤ no more funds to transfer.
 
Everybody that has more than⁣ 100.000€ is being charged -0.60%, every single day they are deducting money from my Euro⁢ current account.
Euro Pacific said that they were starting to charge negative rates on Euro︀ deposits above 100K and that they would stop charging negative rates once the ECB would︁ start hiking rates. That happened last year, interest rates in the Euro zone have gone︂ from -0.50% to +3.75% during the last year, however the bank is still charging us︃ -0.60%.
At the moment there isn't a single bank in the world that is charging︄ negative rates on Euro deposits, as a matter of fact banks are paying interest on︅ Euro deposits, only Qenta/the Receiver are doing this.

I find it shameful and disgraceful how︆ we are being treated by Qenta and the Receiver, charging us account fees every single︇ month, plus negative rates on Euro deposit, plus the absolute lack of information given to︈ us during the past 10 months, every single deadline given to us went by and︉ nothing happened. If it wasn't because Peter has been given us some information on this︊ forum, we wouldn't know anything at all.

Right now we don't know if Novo has︋ the deposit, or if they are willing to return them, the famous freeze was lifted︌ more than 2 months ago.
We also don't know if we will end up losing︍ some of our money after the Receiver is done charging for his services.

How did︎ we get so unlucky, every party involved in this process, the Commissioner, the Receiver, Qenta,️ and Novo bank, they are all useless scammers taking advantage of our money with no‌ end in sight.

I hope Peter can take legal‍ action against the useless Receiver and make him pay for being so incompetent.
 
Nothing that you said in this comment can be denied without providing valid︌ evidence to the contrary. The behavior to date clearly underlines what you said.
 
I wish there was something that we could do, but if Peter wasn't even⁠ able to get the Receiver to do his part in order to get $500K that⁤ was owed to the bank, which would have helped to pay for his services, then⁣ all that we can do is keep on waiting.

It's obvious by now that the⁢ Receiver is not on top of things, how did he ignore the chance of getting︀ half a million dollars for the bank, it's gross negligence.
I really hope Peter can︁ take legal action and hold the Receiver accountable for his lack of action.

All this︂ is ridiculously, and we are paying for it, literally!
 
We should not care about software or any other issue they may have. They are‌ supposed to be in condition to fully operate. Any delay of this type is causing‍ not justifiable damages to us. We are in condition to ask for active revenue interests⁠ for the money detained this way, start a single or class action and clearly accuse⁤ them of default. Either Europacific and Novo fuc**g bank. And threat them like dirty and⁣ squalid debtors as they actually are.

The liar Commissioner, The useless Receiver & blood sucking Qenta are the ones responsible, more︀ than 10 months of waiting and they couldn't anticipate that they were going to need︁ some special "software" to process the wire transfers??? This is all ridiculous, and let's not︂ even think about the fact that they continue to charge us account fees & negative︃ rates on Euro deposits, and on top of that it seems that the lack of︄ action by the useless Receiver has caused the bank to lose $500K, which may end︅ up coming out of our pockets.

What the hell is going on???
 
I have no authority what-so-ever to act on behalf of the bank. The‍ Receiver is in complete control. I couldn't even get him to send out an email⁠ that would have saved the bank about $500,000. So don't blame me for anything that⁤ is happening. I am by far the biggest victim (other than Mark Anderson who lost⁣ his life). I lost 100% of the $10 million I invested in the bank. Worse,⁢ I lost the $25 million in cash and stock I would have received had OCIF︀ approved the sale to Qenta, which was in the best interest of all parties. I︁ have also incurred well over $1 million in legal fees since this ordeal began with︂ the false allegations made by 60 Minutes Australia in Oct. of 2020.

The bank︄ is not receiving any interest on its euro deposits. Novo is keep that money for︅ itself. But the bank still has expenses, the largest one likely the Receiver. But the︆ bank needs to stay somewhat operational to eventually return customer deposits. Since its not providing︇ any other banking services, it has no revenue to cover these operating expenses. So the︈ small monthly charges are necessary.

The Qetna team, which︌ includes many former EPB employees and the Receiver are working on it. I am just︍ a bystander. I have no role in the process, other than trying to help as︎ an outsider. I am just another creditor, who will only receive money if all customers️ and other creditors are made whole. Otherwise I receive nothing.
 
Peter, I find it incredible that the OCIF has︋ had no regard for your interest as the owner of the bank, the fees of︌ the appointed Receiver which was completely unnecessary are coming out of your pocket, and now︍ it seems that his lack of action has caused the bank to lose an extra︎ $500K. At some point you should consider the possibility of taking legal action, even if️ you waived that right, there comes a point when someone has to say enough is‌ enough.

Sorry, I'm no one to tell you what to do but there are obviously‍ too many unnecessary events happening to ignore the fact that you are directly paying the⁠ consequences of all the misconduct, and I would find it surprising if a Judge didn't⁤ sympathize with you. Or at least try to appear on Fox News so everybody knows⁣ about this ordeal and the unnecessary cost of it.

I would like to believe there⁢ is a rainbow for you and for all the customers after all this is over.︀
 
Take a listen to this. Although focused on the US, it is spreading like a‌ virus. Interesting reference about "Bail-in" mentioned here too. Sounds very close to what's happening with‍ EPB/Novo/Qenta/Regulator.......
