What looks like a major blow to E-Resident banking is the announcement in the latest E-Resident newsletter by Estonia that Holvi will stop with the onboarding of E-Residents by end of year, in general concentrating on EU-based clients (not EU-based E-Residents). Gets me thinking if I should even collect the E-Resident card. They announce adding Transferwise, Paysera and Stripe support, but none are a proper replacement or match to the remaining high-fee LHV bank in Estonia. Paysera is funny because if you or they close your account you have to collect the balance in Lithuania in person, or transfer to a Lithuanian bank.
