Hello everyone,
I recently heard rumors that ePayments is going to lose it's license soon, and clients withdrawing their money in hurry. Does anyone know anything about it?

Rumors everywhere. 😀
Minimum posts to open a topic should be at least 30 or else‌ we might keep reading rumors.....

ePayments suspended all operations. Here is their announcement;

On the February 11, 2020 ePayments Systems‌ Limited (‘ePayments’) agreed with the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) to suspend‍ all activity on its customer accounts. This decision was taken following a review, by the FCA, of ePayments anti-money laundering systems and controls, which identified weakness that required remediation.

We know this will be a very frustrating time for our customers. We apologise for any⁤ inconvenience caused and are working tirelessly with the FCA to ensure improvements are made and⁣ accounts can be reactivated as soon as possible. During this improvement process, we want to⁢ assure customers that their funds are being safeguarded as normal.

Just got an e-mail that they've suspended all accounts. Fortunately my account is currently empty‌

Lol....go to epayments website and see message that pops up. Looks like it bit the‌ dust now. Cant see this Russian company making a come back...but hey people know my‍ feelings from my posts about them anyway. I wish them luck with FCA. When Revolut etc had AML issues they were not suspended so make of that what you want⁤ on the seriousness.

My prepaid epayments card is blocked. I can't use it anymore.
So from what I‌ understand, they just need to implement more due diligence, it should not take that much.‍
The FCA is less a problem than Mastercard. If it would have been mastercard, this would have been another story.

That was expected already when the first thread showed up here on the forum! thanks‌ for letting us know.

I like your optimism but I'm‍ afraid the best you can hope for is the possibility to transfer the balance to another bank account in your name. I would be really surprised if they would survive⁤ this.

Just received their email.
Luckily I didn't have any money with them as they were‌ shady to me (I got the feeling I couldn't trust them holding any of my‍ money)

lol should i say bye bye now epayments ? i will have to grab some‌ popcorn to watch the knockout .
