Electricity Bill Alternative

Can anyone name some alternatives for the required electricity bill for opening a bank account?


Problem is, when you rent in spain, service providers remain to the owner and the owner is collecting the costs - in spain everything is complicated and it is just impossible to get the bill on your name.


So, will there be any other documents accepted as well?

Bank or credit card statement will do it. Just something with your name on is perfectly fine.

Second that, there will for sure be no problems with providing a bank or credit Card statement.

Most banks will accept a credit card and bank statement as an alternative to the electricity or water supply bill.

There is also the option to simply use mobile phone bill, most have a mobile phone today 🙂

I always use my Internet and Water bill in-case my electricity bill is not available for me to use. Since they are still part of my household bills, they should be accepted by the bank. As long as you have the name in the bill, its all good.

Well utility bill is require in most situations where you want to open a bank account offshore. A company formation is different and you may simply use a bank statement or similar.
