Not sure if you are following the IPOs, SPAC, PE, VC, HF sectors but today Bill Ackman (Pershing Square HF) donates $1.3B worth of Coupang stock to charity; He actually twitted about this.
"I was a very fortunate day one investor in @Coupang. As a result of its incredible success, 26.5m shares of its stock will benefit humanity as I gave all of the shares to
@PershingSqFdn, a DAF, and another non-profit. Thank you to Bom and the Coupang team on behalf of all of us!"
IMO this is just legal tax "evasion"... Would love to see some similar examples/tricks or just hear your thoughts about this topic...

There is no such thing as legal tax evasion. That is socialist thinking. If the tax code allows it, then it is legal tax minimization and not illegal tax evasion. In the U.S., a famous judge, named Learned Hand, once stated:

Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes... there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible... nobody owes any public duty to pay more than the law demands.”
