Does the merchant ID (MID) get treated like the Credit History?

If I got onboarded on any payment gateway. After sometime, Can I apply to another payment gateway with my the same MID I had?

Does this make my situation any good If I have a good processing history and low chargebacks?

You can use the same merchant account with multiple gateways. But it's more common to open‍ another merchant account instead.

Yes. Your chances of⁤ being approved and getting good/better pricing are increased if you can show that you have⁣ good processing history.

Thank you @Sols for answering this. Good to know some info about MID.

I believe‌ stripe doesn't help in similar situations.

I'm applying with a middle-man company and they are‍ insisting that I'm new so can't be in the low risk and I should be⁠ considered a High risk business. I have only 3 CB from Stripe during the whole⁤ year.
