Hello,

I am wondering if the cash exchanges in Dubai report your exchanges to your home country, as they ask for passport and phone number.

Does anyone know?

No, they don't. They keep a record of it in case the Dubai authorities ever have a reason to look into you. But there is no automatic reporting to your home country.

That's nice. Only problem is that it is difficult to leave Dubai without an airplane, which means you have to go through customs, which in turn limits you to a maximum of 10K euros.

Depends on where you fly in from. The official limit is 60,000 AED in UAE, which is around 15,000 EUR at the moment. But as recent news have shown, it's easy to bring in millions with the right connections. Look into Al Jazeera's reports on the "gold mafia" that came out earlier this year.

This is the probably the answer to your question.

I think in Dubai there is no limit to bring in cash or you should just declare it, should not be any difficulties in it
another problem is to deposit into a bank account

This is the limit only if you don't want to declare it, right?
