🇫🇷☢️🪖 — French Armed Forces are currently holding the third edition of POKER strategic exercise, with French strategic air forces (FAS) initiating the first wave of tankers taking off from Evreux, Avord and Istres air bases.

☢️ The exercise aims at simulating a full nuclear raid against a peer adversary over French territory, with Rafale B strike aircraft supported by MRTT tankers. It will last until late in the night.

✈️ The sky is clear over the whole territory, with some moon light, enabling flying at very low altitude.

🪖 At least five French Air and Space Force A330 MRTT Phénix tankers appear to be airborne simultaneously across France, with the first resupply run over Brittany before heading down toward the Pyrenees/Mediterranean.

🇺🇦🤝🇯🇵 — Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky announced that he met with Japanese Prime-Minister Sanae Takaichi at the UN:

I thanked Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi during our meeting for Japan’s strong support throughout all these years of Russia’s war – energy support packages, sanctions decisions, and humanitarian projects.

It was also very important to hear that this assistance will continue.
We discussed areas where we can help each other.

Of course, Ukraine is ready to share its experience and technologies on a mutually beneficial basis. Japan also has advanced technologies for protecting lives, particularly in air defense, that could help Ukraine get through next winter if Russia once again spurns negotiations.

I invited the Prime Minister to visit Ukraine, including the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which Japan helped restore after a brutal Russian drone strike.

🕊 Takaichi condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and stressed the need for countries to work together toward a just and lasting peace.

🤝 Takaichi reaffirmed that Japan will continue to stand with Ukraine, saying Japan’s position “will never waver.”

🇺🇦 Japan will continue supporting Ukraine and imposing sanctions on Russia alongside the international community.

🇯🇵 Zelenskyy thanked Japan for its support and briefed Takaichi on Ukraine’s current efforts and situation.

🇯🇵🤝🇩🇪 — The delegation of Japan's Sanseito met with AfD's federal parliamentary group at the Berlin House of Representatives during his tour in Germany

📝 According to both parties, issues like energy problems, diplomacy, social security, party operations, education, and immigration policy came up as points of debate between the Japanese and German nationalists, as both sides came with ideas to brainstorm and work together on both sides.

📞 During the meetings, Sanseito leader, Sohei Kamiya, spoke with around 20 AfD members to introduce his party to the German side, received some questions, and exchanged information.

🤝 This is the second AfD-Sanseito meeting since last year, when the Japanese nationalists rose in polls

🇪🇹 Ethiopia map update: the situation in northern Ethiopia on 29/09/2026. Day 1 of the new war.

-In Tigray the TPLF captured the airports of Mekelle, Shire & Axum, consolidating their hold over the region.

-In Afar, a newly emerged group of ANURF has seized the town of Abala.

Need to stress that this is an approximate situation as the military balance in Amhara and Oromia in particular is very fluid. In the coming time clear territories of control will probably crystallise.
