🇩🇿❌🇦🇪 — The Algerian Regime announces that it is cutting diplomatic ties with the United Arab Emirates over so-called 'provocative and hostile actions', says its State Media

➡️ The ruling authorities in Algiers said it is cutting diplomatic ties with the United Arab Emirates following years of tension, with Algiers accusing Abu Dhabi of interfering in national and regional affairs.

“Algeria has decided to cut diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates, following the exhaustion of all means to preserve bilateral relations,” Algeria’s state television announces.

📝 Algier's foreign ministry said on Thursday that the UAE’s actions had reached a point where they could no longer be considered acceptable and that it had “exhausted all means of preserving bilateral relations”.

🚫 It said the Emirati ambassador had been summoned to the ministry, informed of the decision and given 48 hours to comply.

Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune has often offended and called the UAE in speeches as a “micro-state” or “statelet” seeking to destabilise several countries in the region.

🇩🇿 Last year, Algerian State television denounced what it called a hostile media campaign after UAE-based broadcaster Sky News Arabia aired an interview with historian Mohamed Amine Belghit, who made controversial remarks questioning the existence of Algeria's indigenous Amazigh culture.

🗺 To the south lies Al-Hazm, the provincial capital of the Houthi-controlled Al-Jawf Governorate. Yemeni National Army forces began mobilizing east of Al-Hazm. ➡️ The battles led to the Houthi forces conduct an major offensive and seize an area covering an estimated area of 2,600 square kilometers across Taiz and Al-Hudaydah governorates, taking, without major resistance, from the Saudi-backed PLC and Qatari-backed Al-Islah numerous areas including the strategically vital port of Al-Mokha.

➡️ According to media shared on social media, Houthi forces were seen entering the city of Hays in technical pickups

🪖 Per Pro-Houthi/Pro-Iran media, the Houthis seized in this lightning offensive:

🇾🇪❌🇾🇪🇸🇦 — On September 9, 2026, clashes erupted between South Yemeni separatists and PLC forces around al-Aboud Military Camp in the frontline region of Ad Dale following the visit of Saudi-backed PLC's defense Minister Tahir Al-Aqeeli to the region

➡️ During the incident, Separatist armed protesters blocked the main road to prevent the visiting PLC defense minister from leaving, objecting to the presence of a senior northern officer in an STC stronghold.

🇾🇪 Some protesters were seen demanding the release of figures they allege are being detained in Riyadh such as Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Da'ari from the former UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) Armed Forces

As noted by observers, these growing divisions within the Yemen's anti-Houthi camp will only strengthen the Houthis

Israeli forces destroyed more than 2 kilometers of Hezbollah underground infrastructure beneath the Ali al-Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon tonight after establishing control over the area above and below ground.

The sprawling network housed a central command complex of Hezbollah’s Badr Unit, including command centers, weapons depots and living quarters designed for prolonged underground operations.

Dozens of Iranian-made rockets, missiles and UAVs were found inside, alongside anti-tank missiles, machine guns, mines and hundreds of explosive devices. The strategic facility had been developed over 2 decades with Iranian funding and planning.

IDF Spokesperson, Effie Defrin, on Mount Dov:
This network was built over two decades, funded and directed by the Iranian terrorist regime. In recent months, our forces have encircled the area and increased pressure on the routes and on the terrorists who were entrenched within. All the terrorists who were in the infrastructure have been eliminated or have fled. Despite Hezbollah's declaration that it would defend the infrastructure at all costs, it failed and even abandoned its people to die inside.

Alongside the achievements and the completion of the mission, the fighting has taken a heavy toll on us. Our soldiers, the best of our sons, the salt of the earth, fell in the battles to capture and clear the mountain. We have completed the mission, and these achievements are primarily for them. We will continue to protect the settlements in the north and work to remove any threat to our citizens and our forces. Just as we acted here, we will continue to operate along all the borders.

Joint statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz:
In accordance with the directive of the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister, the IDF has now destroyed the underground infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization on the Ali Taher ridge, thereby completing the organization of the security zone in southern Lebanon.

This is a strategic terror infrastructure that was built over two decades, funded and planned by Iran. The terror infrastructure and headquarters on the ridge were intended to serve as a base for the conquest of the Galilee and controlled observation and fire over Metula and Kiryat Shmona. Their destruction completes the achievement of operational control over the Ali Taher ridge—both above and below ground.

IDF forces are preparing to defend the area and to prevent the enemy's return to the territory.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 was measured in Lebanon as a result of the explosion.

🇮🇱❌🇱🇧🇮🇷 — Footage shared by the Israel Defense Forces and Israeli Prime-Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed the destruction of the largest Iranian outpost outside of Iran - the Ali al-Taher Ridge in Lebanon.

➡️ The underground complex is about 15 km (10 miles) from the Israeli border and has become one of the most contested areas of the war between Israel and Hezbollah.

📝 Hezbollah is believed to have built an underground command centre and weapons stores there, according to Lebanese security sources who spoke to Reuters in July.
