🇩🇪 Merz’s ratings hit a new low: even Merkel never saw numbers this bad

According to a Forsa institute poll, 85% of Germans are dissatisfied with the work of Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the worst figure since he took office. Back in April, he was still at 80%.

For comparison, at the end of Angela Merkel’s tenure in 2021, 41% of Germans believed she could not handle the country’s problems.

The discontent extends beyond the government: 84% of respondents say that no party adequately addresses people’s problems and interests.

Hamidreza Rajabzadeh, a pro-government Iranian religious singer (maddah), was abducted and killed after going missing on August 4, 2026.

He disappeared on August 4 and was held captive for several days.

His family received a video showing his body, depicting signs of torture and the removal of his heart.

Iranian Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the kidnapping and murder and are working to identify those responsible. No official motive or suspects have been publicly confirmed so far.
