Shortly prior to its structural failure, tenants were forced to move out after the building was designated unsafe.

🇮🇷❌🇮🇷🌞 — Earlier today, July 17, 2026, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched several attacks overnight until early this morning in one of its deadliest attacks on Iranian Kurdish opposition parties since the Third Gulf War began on 28 February, killing six Peshmerga fighters from the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan and wounding several others.

According to the parties media & Kurdish media, 5x jet powered drones struck the group’s camp in the Zargwez mountains, east of Sulaymaniyah, early this morning.

🇮🇷❌🇮🇷🌞 — Kurdish media reports that around 9x fighters of the Iranian-Kurdish opposition party Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan were killed in an IRGC drone and missile strike on their camp in Iraqi Kurdistan's Sulaymaniyah province

Iranian drones have struck an allegedly Kurdish opposition positions in Tasluja area of Sulaimani, with secondary detonations confirming hits on munitions storage.

The ammunition depot struck by Iranian drones in Sulaymaniyah belongs to the Peshmerga forces of the Kurdistan Region's 70th Unit, which is affiliated with the PUK, though it was initially believed that the struck depot belonged to Kurdish opposition groups.

🇺🇸🇺🇸❌🇮🇷 — US sends dozens of refueling planes to Israel ahead of possible escalation with Iran, reports Ynet news

➡️ The United States is accelerating its military buildup in Israel amid escalating fighting and expanded strikes against Iran, with 10 additional U.S. Air Force refueling aircraft expected to arrive Friday and Saturday, ynet has learned.

➡️ Unlike previous waves of aircraft, the new tankers will not be stationed at Ben Gurion Airport. More than 60 American refueling planes have arrived in Israel so far, including 33 that were parked at the country’s main international airport.

➡️ As Ynet reported earlier this week, officials from U.S. Central Command protested after Transportation Minister Miri Regev moved to limit the number of American tankers stationed at Ben Gurion Airport. CENTCOM officials told senior Israeli defense officials that the restriction could undermine the operational flexibility of U.S. forces in the region.
