The co-pilot has been identified as 29-year-old Hamam al-Hammami.

According to CNN, al-Hammami was born in the UAE to Omani and Syrian parents and spent several years living in the country.

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇾🇪 — US President Trump's top Cabinet members held a hours-long meeting at Camp David on Friday to discuss next steps in the Iran war and the Saudi-Houthi conflict in Yemen. Vice President JD Vance chaired the meeting.

"Things were decided or at least deeply discussed," a U.S. official said.

The highly unusual gathering was not announced by the Trump administration. The last similar meeting took place in June 2025, just days before Israel went to war with Iran.
